High temperatures yesterday were in the low 90s with one exception.

Newark Liberty Airport managed to get four degrees warmer than everybody else, somehow managing to reach 96 degrees there.

Of course, it turned cooler eventually near the beach and boardwalk.

We had a scattering of showers and some heavy thunderstorms around yesterday.

Today, we may not have the coverage of thunderstorms, but with some sunshine and humid highs in the low 90s, there's the chance of a shower or thunderstorm at any time this afternoon or evening.  It's hit or miss stuff, not everyone will get it.

It may turn cooler at the beach later.

Any evening shower or thunderstorm ends.  Then partly cloudy overnight with statewide lows from the upper 60s to mid 70s.

Partly sunny, hot and humid tomorrow with another chance of a shower or thunderstorm later in the day back in the lower 90s and possibly some relief near the ocean.

Still humid Thursday with a continuing chance of a shower or thunderstorm and highs from 85 to maybe 90, but definitely cooler at the beach.

More unsettled showery weather Friday into the weekend, unfortunately.
