Steven Tyler’s National Anthem Performance [Video, Poll]

If the roles were reversed and someone was judging Aerosmith’s lead singer and American Idol judge Steven Tyler on his performance during the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ to kickoff the AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium, Tyler would not be punching his ticket to Hollywood right now. Take a look at the video and see for yourselves. Not only was Tyler visibly straining to hit some of the notes, but he apparently either forgot or changed some of the words.

While  Tyler is arguably one of the all-time greatest frontmen in rock and roll history, to steal a line from his American Idol counterpart Randy Jackson, I just wasn’t feeling this performance dawg.
