Steve Trevelise's son Albert gets his first guitar

You never forget your first time, no matter what it may be. In my son Albert's case that would be a guitar. This 8-year-old soon-to-be-maestro (hopefully) has been taking lessons for the past few months while saving up his money and ordered an Ibanez last week and it finally came within the last few days.

What's funny about Albert learning the guitar is that I told him that when I was his age, I used to draw guitars in the margins of my notebooks in school. Then Albert proudly showed me his real guitar.

I'm hoping this is the start of something big for him! What was your first real hobby or interest that you loved?
