Steve Trevelise: Rename Winter Storm Jonas with a ‘Jersey’ angle

So I understand that they are naming this Winter Storm "Jonas."  I have no idea why. Could it be named after Jersey's own Jonas Brothers? If were going to use a Jersey angle to name a blizzard, how about naming it after a Blizzard who is not only a former Miss New Jersey, but she's 'One Funny Mother' as well?
