Jim kicked off the interview with asking Steve the basic question as to what Lonegan would bring to the table for the people of NJ if he went to Washington to fill the vacated seat that the rest of the Democratic candidates, including Newark Mayor Cory Booker, do not.

Lonegan believes that he brings something much different than the other 4 candidates. The other candidates, as Lonegan believes " are just rubber stamps for Obama Administration and the President's agenda, including Obamacare in its entirety. "

Lonegan went on to say that his number one thrust as a senator, would be to look to the US Constitution as the basis for every vote he would ever cast. Beyond the big picture, De-funding of the Obama health care plan and making it essential to return to a free market health care system would be a top priority for Lonegan. The IRS and NSA and dealing with their intrusion into our privacy and surveillance.

Steve Lonegan believes, if elected, that he can be the strongest voice for New Jersey taxpayers that the state has had in decades.
