Stephen Colbert went on an hilarious six-minute tirade at Daft Punk's expense after the 'robots' cancelled their appearance on Colbert's show. Daft Punk, whose hit single 'Get Lucky' has been a summer hit, decided to cancel on Colbert reportedly to make a surprise appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

What fans weren't expecting, was Colbert to start ripping the electronic duo for being a no-show. Colbert announce that he had apparently been "Daft-Punk'd." Colbert even brought out "Punk'd" hosts Ashton Kutcher for a quick back-and-forth about the missing musical guests.

The pseudo political talk show host decided to have fun and not let it get him down. Colbert gave his viewers  an on-air party with a fun show even including a few surprise guests along the way.
