According to NJ.com, an older couple has been charged with committing a “lewd act”. Really?

Yes, it happened in Hackettstown. Yes, it was a couple in their 50′s. Yes, they were spotted by police engaged in a lewd act on Sunday morning about 1 a.m. Yes, an officer saw shoes lying on the ground outside the vehicle which had windows heavily fogged. Yes, the rear door was partially opened as the officer approached the vehicle.

But, in this day and age of multi-tasking and distracted driving, instead of being punished shouldn’t they be praised for having enough common sense to do it parked rather than while driving?

And hey, in their 50′s and still gettin’ it on like a couple of teenagers from a Meatloaf song? More power to them. As Bruce said, it ain’t no sin to be glad you’re alive!
