State Police Identify Body Found Off Sea Isle City
State police have identified a body found this week in waters off Sea Isle City.
But it’s still not clear what caused the death of 61-year-old Norman Remsen of Marmora.
Remsen’s body was found around noon Thursday, between 42nd and 43rd Place in Sea Isle City. Authorities say there was no sign of foul play but declined further comment, citing the ongoing investigation.
Friends tell The Press of Atlantic City that Remsen was a carpenter who did a lot of work in the Cape May County area, but his true passion was playing guitar in blues bands.
It’s not clear if Remsen was working in the Sea Isle City area at the time of his death or if he was visiting the region.
