Stacey Q’s ‘Two of Hearts’ – Doyle’s ‘Not-So-Top-10′

Instead of going with a “follow up” hit this week, I chose the main hit from a forgotten performer.  Stacey Q was a singer/dancer/actress who dabbled in a lot of areas.  She had a recurring role on “Facts of Life” as Cinnamon, a singer; fun fact:  when George Clooney left “Facts of Life” (yes, George Clooney was on “Facts of Life” when he was young), the reason given on the show for his departure was that he was going on tour with Cinnamon.  She charted two top 40 hits:  “We Connect” which peaked at #35 in 1987 and her signature song, “Two of Hearts” which is the one I requested.  No, Big Joe didn’t play it.
