Bruce Springsteen's upcoming book tour has New Jersey fans in a familiar frenzy, as they plot out a chance to "meet" the Boss. Tickets for the Monmouth County launch event were quietly released on Monday and snapped up quickly.

They were free, but ticket-holders have to buy Springsteen's memoir, "Born to Run" on Sept. 27 at the store, before the photo op.

It's a similar, sold-out deal for the next stop in New York City, but Philadelphia is doing things differently.

The Free Library of Philadelphia is selling its tickets on Friday morning. The $33 general admission includes a copy of Springsteen's book.

Bruce's book tour also jets to the west coast before returning to Manhattan for the "New Yorker Festival" next month.

Tickets for that event include the book and a theater interview, but no 'meet and greet' moment. (Plus, they're pricier- $85 a seat.) They go on sale Wednesday, September 14.
