Speeding NJ Motorcyclist With No Helmet, Headlights Dies in Crash

Gloucester Township police have identified a speeding motorcyclist who was killed during a nighttime crash last night at the intersection of Hickstown Road and Windsor Drive in Erial, NJ.

James Patitucci, 24 of Pine Hill died from injuries suffered in the collision after being flown to Cooper Hospital.

The investigation found that Patitucci was driving an unregistered, uninsured off-road motorcycle at a high rate of speed, with no helmet or headlight on Hickstown Road when he collided with a vehicle as it attempted to turn onto Windsor Drive. The motorist was not injured, and police say Patitucci was operating the motorcycle on a suspended drivers license. The crash occurred at around 8:23 p.m.
