One of the greatest joys in life is sharing something you’re a fan of with your friends and family. In fact, I’d say that 80% of the reason to have kids is that you’re basically creating little people who haven’t heard of any of your favorite bands, TV shows, or movies. I’m not sure I could put up with just how needy they are (I mean, they ask for food something like three times every day!) if I couldn’t force them to watch Empire Strikes Back with me.

It’s not hard to hear the surprise and joy in my voice, then, when during today’s podcast Bill Spadea mentioned that he didn’t know about Gwenyth Paltrow’s goop.com. I don’t want it to say it derailed the podcast (after all, we tore up all the rails and bent them into Sherman neckties months ago), but we couldn’t let Bill stay uneducated. Jessica Nutt, comedian Danish Maqbool, and myself got to experience the pure joy of explaining goop.com and some of its products (ahemVaginaEggsahem) to a dumbfounded Bill.

If you don’t know goop.com, it’s basically what a website would look like if a pair of expensive yoga pants came to life and then married rich. It’s the link we will click on after the aliens ask us to “explain this emotion you humans call ‘hatred’."  It’s…well, if you want to find out more about it and hear Bill’s rather spectacular response to it, you’re gonna need to listen to the episode.

And don’t just do it for goop hate. There’s lots of great stuff this week: An interesting conversation with Pakistani-America comedian Danish Maqbool, some great Reagan talk, an exploration of the best Nuclear War movies, and much more!

So, do yourself a favor and give the podcast a listen! Or, better yet, subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and have Speaking Millennial arrive at your proverbial door like a millennial college graduate returning to live at home for an unspecified amount of time.  Also, and we cannot stress this enough: rate and review us! We prefer love, but we’ll take hate, and every person who leaves of review will be mentioned by name on the podcast!

As always: Thanks for listening!
