Spadea shuts down angry caller before things escalate

I want people to disagree with me as I'm a contrarian at heart. I love a good argument. It's great to debate the topics I bring up on air.

Today though, I had a caller on air that I had to put in his place. Steve from Mapleshade called in to discuss players like Colin Kaepernick who are taking a knee during the national anthem. I was up for a debate on the topic as I have been pretty fired up over it the last few days.

Even though Steve had gone off the topic a bit, mentioning my conversation about former NFL player Pat Tillman, I was willing to have a discussion about whatever Steve brought up. Unfortunately, the it went from a conversation to a yelling match and that's where I draw the line.
