I spent much of the weekend talking to legislators and listeners by phone, text and Twitter.  Seems there is tremendous agitation among New Jerseyans upset with the governor and the legislative leaders for pulling another late-day money grab.  To make it worse, the announcement came on a Friday before a Jewish holiday and following a terrible tragedy in Hoboken.

Seems the politicians, who won't even be paying the tax personally, have nothing but contempt for the rest of us.  Now that we're back to work after the weekend,  the show is about exposing the lies and the weakness among those who could try to stop it but won't muster the courage to stand up.

Upset about it? Then let's do something about it!

I want you to call these legislators — Democrats and Republicans alike — and tell them in no uncertain terms: No. Gas. Tax. If you hit them up electronically, too, remember to use #NoGasTax.

Let’s get on the phones right away.
