Four other family members were injured in the Feb. 23 blaze in South Plainfield. There’s still no word what sparked the blaze.

Sixty-two-year-old Anne Jefferson and her four grandchildren were remembered at First Park Baptist Church in Plainfield. More than 250 came to remember them, with overflow crowd that had to be set up in the foyer.

South Plainfield has raised about $25,000 to help the family. Supplies also will be given to the surviving family members as soon as they obtain a new home.
