South Brunswick Woman Found Safe

A missing South Brunswick woman was found safe and has returned home.

The South Brunswick Patch reports 44-year-old Elizabeth Carlton returned home on Friday night unhurt and there was no "criminal aspect" to her disappearance.

Carlton suffers a cognitive impairment and was last seen at a shopping center on Route 1 on Wednesday. Her cell phone was not able to be tracked although police said she was likely headed towards Camden.

She was the subject of a Silver Alert in 2012 and was found in south  Jersey.
