The weekend forecast worked out reasonably well, although there were some low clouds that persisted in southern and coastal counties early afternoon Sunday.

High temperatures yesterday reached the upper 50s and the low 60s, coolest near the beach and boardwalk by far.  Even with the sunshine that returned to the Jersey Shore, yesterday's temperatures were pretty cool.

Temperatures today will probably be no better than the lower 60s.  How much clouds versus how much sunshine we have remains to be seen. We have some low clouds that are present up to about the Route 1 corridor.

When you get farther north, you can find some clear skies, and that may be the case for a time today.  There may be some clear skies in North Jersey and some clouds that may try to linger in the southern counties.

No rain today, though there is the risk of some spotty light precipitation and some spotty light showers at some point overnight.  T

here's a better chance of that coming in for Tuesday, and perhaps into Wednesday, as well.
