High temperatures Wednesday reached the low to middle 60s as advertised.

The normal high is 65 to 66, which we were below in many locations. Newark Liberty Airport was the warmest at 65 yesterday.

Today, we'll be up to near 70, despite arriving clouds, especially this afternoon, after some sunshine to start.  It will be cooler near the ocean.

Some showers will develop during tonight, especially later tonight with milder temperatures from 57 to 63, but closer to 70 along the coast.

Showers tomorrow and even a brief thunderstorm for much of the day, especially through the morning and mid-day hours.  I had thought we might catch a break and dry out in the afternoon. Although that still could happen, it may be late in the day, if at all. Some highs tomorrow in the low 70s, but 60s near the ocean.

Then, a nice weekend head.  Sunshine returns Saturday with highs well into the 60s.

A sunny Sunday, probably mid-60s, though a bit cooler in the afternoon along the beach and the boardwalk.
