PATH Service Back To Normal

PATH service is back to normal following a jumper at the Newport station on Friday morning.

Service resumed just before 3:00 p.m. on the  Hoboken-World Trade Center line and the service between Journal Square and 33rd Street is operating normally after a woman in her 20s jumped in front of a train at the Newport station just before 12 noon. She was alert when taken to Jersey City Medical Center.

The Newport station is also back in service following an investigation.

NJ Transit is cross-honoring tickets  with PATH trains at Hoboken Terminal. And Hudson Bergen Light Rail will be cross-honoring PATH trains in trains in the area of Newport-Pavonia Station.
