High temperatures yesterday reached the mid to upper 70s; Newark's 79 was the highest reading we saw.

Atlantic City had 75 with some semblance of a sea breeze, even though the airport is 11 miles west of the boardwalk, inland just a bit.

Well, we are certainly going to have some showers, some of the heavy today. Even a gusty thunderstorm with a downpour is possible this afternoon and evening.  It'll also be windy, with gusts of 40 miles per hour possible, particularly at the shore.  Highs 76 to 81.

Some rain for a while tonight, maybe heavy at times, before tapering off late. Most lows will be in the 60s, but a few 50s are possible in NW Jersey.

Becoming partly sunny tomorrow and much less humid.  Highs just in the low 70s.

A mix of sun and clouds on Thursday, but still very comfortable.  Thursday's highs in the mid 70s.

We may have a shower or two later on Saturday, and perhaps early Sunday.

More on that later.
