Social media is being used to spoil TV shows

Research from a British study indicates that 74% of those surveyed have had a TV show spoiled by information online. The shows most likely to be ruined? Breaking Bad (is that on in first run in England?), Game of Thrones, and The Walking Dead.

According to the article, 47% of respondents admit to having ruined a show for other people online. Since the survey (and the article) are British-based, they point out that many popular shows air in the U.S. First and then people post the information on Facebook, Twitter, etc., ruining it for people overseas. Maybe they should get their own shows.
