Thursday's high temperatures didn't get to 30 degrees.  It was 29 in Atlantic City and 27 in Trenton.

Today will still be pretty cold, with sunshine and clouds.  Highs will be in the low to middle 30s.  It will be cold tonight as well, with temperatures mostly in the 20s, closer to 30s along the coast. Some spots could even see temperatures in the teens.

A very complicated and complex forecast for Saturday.  Snow will develop in the morning, and by the end of the day or early in evening, there could be one to three inches in parts of South Jersey, well inland.  There will be four inches or more along the Route 1 corridor, and from four to eight inches from Route 78 on north.  Little to no snow is expected at the coast.

The snow will changeover to sleet and rain later in the day in South Jersey, and it may even go to a wintry mix or rain in Central Jersey as well.  Saturday's high range from 27 to 33 degrees.

Sunshine returns on Sunday with high winds.  Highs 37 to 41 degrees.

I'm going to be on vacation until Jan. 2 so there will be no weather blog until I return.

My holiday message for you is: Loving kindness, warm hearts and a stretched out hand of tolerance - all the shinning gifts that make peace on earth.
