When I was a kid, I used to love snow days. From the time you woke up and saw snow falling outside, to listening to the radio DJ telling me that I had the day off, to the money I could make in that day from shoveling driveways, it all made for great memories.

Governor Christie has signed a law legalizing driveway shoveling for kids (although I had no idea that shoveling driveways was ever illegal).

On a good day you can make a few hundred dollars and get some exercise- who wouldn't want that? Be careful though because you can also get a heart attack.Today, when I see kids on my street looking to shovel my drive way, I see the same hustle I had back in the day. I let kids shovel my driveway whenever I can.

Don’t tell my sons, but in a few years, they’re going to be out there themselves, whether they like it or not.

There’s nothing like that feeling of accomplishment at the end of a snow day when you’re sitting at the table eating soup with cash in your pocket. Also, nothing like that feeling in your body the next few days while the aches and pains go away.

Who shovels your house? How much do you pay?
