The weekend just ended was very mild. It was milder Sunday than I expected.  It was mostly well into the 50s both Saturday and Sunday.

The normal high is 39 to 41, so we were way above normal.

We'll be way below normal in the days ahead.

Today will be mostly into the 30s.  It'll be colder, not all that cold yet, with the risk of snow showers to some light snow arriving near the Delaware River by late morning or early afternoon.

That will continue through the afternoon and into this evening elsewhere.  As little as a dusting or light coating to, perhaps, on the outside of an inch is possible.

We'll get some clearing overnight with temperatures falling into the 20s, even a few teens.

Guidance wants to have 20s to near 30 for the next couple of days.  I think that's way too high.  I think we'll only be in the 20s tomorrow, and probably in the lower 20s, low to mid 20s at best, on Wednesday.

Bitterly cold weather - no question about it.

It looks as though we'll have a snow threat here on Friday.  The details are a little bit unclear since it's still early in the week.

We'll have more on this in the days ahead.
