No one was injured when a small plane ran off the runway at an airport in Burlington County.

The FAA says the pilot of the single-engine Piper aborted his takeoff from the Flying W Airport in Medford and the aircraft went into the woods at 10:50 a.m. Thursday.

The FAA says the preliminary information is the pilot was not injured and there was minor damage to the plane.

The incident is under investigation.

The plane is registered to a man who lives in Tuckerton.
