Police say a small plane has crashed just after taking off from Blairstown Airport

There were no fatalities in the crash late Friday morning in Warren County.

The Express-News reports the plane came down around 11:30 a.m. on Gwinnup Road just over a mile from the airport. A neighbor says two men walked away from the plane, which split in half, with minor injures. She said the impact of the plane sounded like a

The New Jersey Herald reports the crash of the plane, a 41-year-old Piper fixed wing single-engine aircraft was registered to Levine & Sons LLC of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania,  resulted in a fuel spill and the Warren County Hazardous Materials Unit is on the scene.

The Express-News reports it is the second crash in the region in the past two days.
