‘SlutWalk’ takes a stand against rape
Students at the College of New Jersey in Ewing came together in a protest against sexual assault during the annual March to End Rape Culture: SlutWalk
Sponsored by the campus group Woman In Learning and Leadership, the main focus of SlutWalk is that women are not at fault in the case of rape.
“Rapists aren’t the monsters we imagine in our heads,” political analyst and key speaker Zerlina Maxwell said in TCNJ's student newspaper The Signal. “Rapists are just regular people who chose to violate consent.”
