Six Flags Seeks To Fill Open 2012 Positions [AUDIO]

The Six Flags Great Adventure theme park in Jackson Township New Jersey will be hosting job fairs next month for the 2012 season. Park officials say they're hoping to fill 4,100 positions including 200 internships.Director of Administration, Jason Maxwell, says they're looking for enthusiastic candidates of all ages to fill a wide variety of jobs.

"Everything is open for right now in food service, ride operations, lifeguard and aquatics, merchandise, and park services. So you name it, what we call it like careers A to Z from Accounting to Zoology.  If we don't have the opportunity, it doesn't exist."

Maxwell says your job skills aren't as important to them as your personality.

"It's really more the quality that they possess in terms of smile, their eye contact, their engagement. That is what Six Flags is known for with their friendly, clean, fast and safe service.  And that's really what we're looking for."

The job fairs are scheduled for Saturday's February 11th and February 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Employment Center at Six Flags Great Adventure. He also advises candidates to apply online first at www.sixflagsjobs.com and bring two forms of identification with you.
