High temperatures yesterday reached as high as 85 or 86, but never really made the upper 80s so I was a little on the high side.

It was noticeably cooler near the water.

Today, it will be cooler by a little bit. We'll still make the 70s away from the ocean with the chance of a few showers and a thunderstorm during the course of the day.  Not all day by any means, but the threat will be around at anytime.

That will apply to tonight, as well.  Showers and possibly a thunderstorm will be around with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Showers are likely again tomorrow. That's no surprise with highs in the lower 60s.

But what is a surprise is that everything has slowed down just enough, unfortunately, that Saturday now appears to be showery and cool with lots of clouds back in the 60s.  Not really a beach day by any means.

It'll be a bit better Sunday with a mix of sunshine and some clouds near 70.

Mostly sunny Sunday in the 70s.

I'm going to be off from Friday through Tuesday of next week, so I'll see you next Wednesday.

Have a happy Memorial Day.
