First it was Senator Raymond Lesniak, now a liberal think-tank group named New Jersey Policy Perspective is suggesting a gas tax is the way to raise money to fix NJ's roads.

Finding a funding source hasn't been easy for New Jersey so the think-tank group has come up with an idea to apply sales tax to gas purchases.The sales tax is currently 7% in New Jersey which would work out to roughly almost 25 cents a gallon.

The governor has said on more than one occasion that he is strongly opposed to any new taxes including a gas tax. Do you think it is time for a gas tax or are we already up to our ears in taxes?
