Should NJ Have Stronger Animal Abuse Laws? [POLL]
Jim has been discussing the horrific case of animal abuse in Egg Harbor Twp where a dog was beaten to death and left behind a mobile home trailer park.
The case will be heard in Egg Harbor Twp this coming Friday (2/21). For sick people, that would abuse, hurt or unfortunately even kill an animal, should there be much harsher laws?
Patrick's Law brought about more awareness regarding animal abuse and did strengthen the abuse laws, but should there be more? Currently, if a person is foudn guilty of neglect, it is a 4th degree crime, with the possibility of elevating to a 3rd degree crime if the animal dies.
Should NJ adopt even stronger laws? Take our poll below.
