Sexting ... it's not just for teenagers. Adults are sexting more than ever, and the majority of them aren't doing it with strangers.

In 2015, a team of psychologists at Drexel University released a study that surveyed 870 adults ranging in age from 18 to 82 about their sexting motives and behaviors. Overall, 88 percent of those surveyed said they had sexted.

And for those of you in a relationship, you'll be happy to know that the majority of those that said they sexted, 75 percent of them said they did it while in a committed relationship. Forty-three percent said they sexted someone while in a casual relationship.

For some couples, sexting is a new form of foreplay, and has even helped keep them intimately connected with their partner throughout the day. Some couples even told researchers that it's helped improve their sex lives.
