High temperatures yesterday reached the mid to upper 80s.

It was as high as 89 at Newark Liberty Airport.

Today, I think we will do lower 90s.  The Weather Service forecaster, Walt Dragg, is predicting upper 90s in spots.  He might be right, but I tended to be lower on the number today.  Some sunshine, hot and humid.  By the way, there will be some relief at the beaches.  And watch for the chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm from this afternoon and this evening, and probably the chance into the first part of the night.

Then very warm and humid late tonight with lows from 75 to around 80.

Partly sunny, hot and still humid tomorrow with temps in the mid 90s.  There is still the chance of a shower or thunderstorm Friday.

That chance remains on Saturday, as well.  Sun and clouds with a possibility of a shower or thunderstorm.  Saturday's highs from 88 to 92.

Then some sunshine Sunday with highs mostly in the 80s, though a bit cooler than that near the ocean.

And for the moment, we are keeping Sunday rain-free.
