Bryant had a dispute with his mother over whether she was authorized to give New Jersey-based Goldin Auctions about 100 items to sell.

Bryant and the auction company exchanged lawsuits, and a trial was set to begin next week.

Under the settlement, Goldin can auction six items including two of Bryant's high school uniforms. Bryant jumped straight from Lower Merion High School outside Philadelphia to the NBA in 1996.

In an emailed statement Monday, Joseph and Pamela Bryant say they are sorry for any misunderstanding and thanked their son for his financial support over the years.
