University officials announced Tuesday that the public tuition rate program, started last year, is being extended to the law school.

Tuition at the law school will be reduced in the 2013-14 academic year to $22,330 for eligible incoming first-year students. Students must score 158 or higher on the LSAT's and have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher to be eligible.

The university started a program last year that allows qualifying applicants to attend Seton Hall for rates closer to Rutgers University's in-state tuition level. Seton Hall is extending the program to the law school to offer "a private legal education at a public school price."
