Fuquan Edwin scored 16 points and Eugene Teague added 14 in his Seton Hall debut to lead the Pirates to a 75-36 rout of Missouri-Kansas City Friday night in the season opener for both teams.

Seton Hall got 13 points from Brian Oliver, a transfer from Georgia Tech. Teague, who transferred from Southern Illinois, scored six straight points during the second half, including a dunk and a free throw.

Brandon Mobley had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Pirates, who outscored Missouri-Kansas City 41-14 in the second half. The Kangaroos of the Summit League returned four starters. It didn't matter.

Seton Hall outscored Missouri-Kansas City 17-2 to open the second half. Estan Tyler led the Kangaroos with 10 points. The game, part of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament, was Seton Hall's first regular-season game on campus in Walsh Gym in almost 12 years.
