It's sentencing day for the New Jersey man who threw his baby daughter to her death off the Garden State Parkway's Driscoll Bridge.

Shamsidden Abdur-Raheem and Zara Malani-Lin Abdur-Raheem (Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, MySpace)

faces up to life in prison for murder, kidnapping and child endangerment. He also was convicted of assaulting the baby's maternal grandmother while abducting the child from the woman's East Orange apartment in 2010.

The 24-year-old Galloway Township resident testified that he tossed 3-month-old Zara into the Raritan River because he believed the child was already dead from injuries she suffered during a fight with the grandmother.
