A second victim of Tuesday night's accident in Southampton has died.

New Jersey State Police say the Jairisa Galindo,18, died late Wednesday night at Cooper University Hospital.

She had pulling siblings Jyonshiel Martinez, 2, and Kahariel Martinez, 6 in a wagon down the center of Buddtown Road in Southampton Tuesday night alongside brother John Giles, 8, when they were hit by a BMW sedan driven by Thomas Xenakis, 37, of Southampton. Sister Mahya Martinez, 13, was with the group, but was walking off of the roadway to the right in the grass.

Jyonshiel Martinez died Tuesday.

No charges are pending in the case. Police say they don't believe alcohol, speed or drugs played a role in the incident.

A spokeswoman for Cooper University Hospital in Camden declined to comment to New Jersey 101.5 about the cause of Galindo's death or the condition of the other hospitalized children.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing by State Police.
A trust fund for the family to cover medical and funeral expenses has been created by Southampton Township. Abel Martinez's employer, Superior Landscaping in Shamong,has set up a gofundme.com account as well.
