The scars of Superstorm Sandy aren't even healed and now the community of Seaside Heights and Seaside Park have to deal with an enormous fire that engulfed a large chunk of the boardwalk and the businesses located there. Many NJ101.5 listeners, Twitter followers and Facebook fans took to social media to express their feelings both of heartache and in some cases, controversial.

Here's a look at some of the reaction we received tonight on our social media pages:

Barbara Sigley Silva:

As a victim of Sandy as well as others, this just frigging breaks my heart, so devastating. Prayers for all......

Michelle Restaino Knight:
So sad I pray for everyone so heartbreaking so much hard work gone
Andrea Lupiano:

Except in the pic that structure didn't collapse yet it's now gone! So heartbreaking

Mike Mulligan:

I think about the 80s on the boardwalk and never thought about the devastation Sandy brought and now this happens. This sucks
Valerie Zaremba Levine:
Prayers to the people of Seaside Heightz.
Susan Petuch:
How much more can the Jersey Shore take???
Karen Isley:
Again, so sorry about the fire that has ruined all the rebuilt businesses after Sandy. Our thoughts are with all of the residents that are once again going to be robbed of their much beloved family seaside entertainment. This is just so unfair!
And there was Governor Chris Christie's inspirational message for Seaside on his Twitter account:

Jennifer Ezzi-Wilson

It's very sad but also a wake up call from our Lord. You can't go around glamorizing drinking and sexual behavior on TV and think there's no consequences. Hopefully this will be a road to salvation for the lost.
