Although the fire that engulfed a major part of the Seaside Boardwalk is now under control, there are hundreds of firemen and emergency responders  who have been working tirelessly to help control the blaze.

There is no way to know how many people have been affected by the fire but we do know there are plenty of people who will need help. If you're looking to lend a helping hand and donate to the emergency workers and others, here's how you can help and where you can drop off needed items:

The People's Pantry Relief Center,  located at 1001 Fischer Blvd in Toms River. They are looking for gift cards to set up lunch for the firemen. Cases of water, Gatorade and energy bars are also being accepted. Here are some updates from the People's Pantry Facebook page:
