Search for Sarah Majoras Continues in Lambertville
It’s another day of searching for Sarah Majoras, the Lambertville woman who vanished last Saturday in the wee hours of the morning after meeting friends for drinks in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
Surveillance video shows Sarah Majoras walked over the Lambertville – New Hope Bridge around 2:30 a.m. but after that she disappeared.
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns says his office continues to treat this as a missing person’s case and an active investigation.
“We have state police divers again – from the marine division – in the canal, they’re searching there, we continue our search on the ground,” Kearns said.
Officials Ask for Public's Help
“Our plea to the public now is if anyone has any information regarding where Sarah Majoras may be…if anyone was in the area, we’re asking them to come forward and tell us if they saw anything, heard anything, or if they know of anyone who may have given Sarah a ride, " Kearns said.
He credits the public for coming forward with information, saying, "We’re gathering that information, making an assessment of that information and using it as we go forward. ”
Kearns adds, “While we have no substantial evidence of foul play, our minds remain open, we’re looking at all possibilities, and we continue to pursue any information we have in an attempt to make sense of what might have happened.”
Anyone who has something to report is urged to call the Hunterdon County Prosecutors office at 908- 788-1129.
"We believe the public is going to make a difference in this case, ” Kearns said.
