Search for missing Toms River 13-year-old girl and Jackson man

TOMS RIVER — A 13-year-old girl who left home Wednesday evening is the object of a broadening search by police.

Antonella Marino's family has not had contact with her since Wednesday, police said.

Authorities believe that she might be accompanied by Jeffrey Trautman, 19, of Jackson. He is not suspected of any criminal activity, police said, but they hope that he can lead them to her.

Police said that Trautman, described as a white male, drives a green 2003 Volkswagen Golf with New Jersey plates. They did not give the plate number, and indicated that whether it's registered to him or to someone else is unknown.
