New Jersey State Police spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez said there were two adult women and no children on board the bus when it flipped over at in Tinton Falls near exit No. 109 in the express lanes.

The 42-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene and a passenger, age 55, was hospitalized at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The bus overturned around 1:30 p.m. and was cleared up about an hour later, according to Goez but delays in both the local and express lanes started at the PNC Bank Arts Center.

Goez said the bus was registered to a location in Keansburg but did not know if the bus belonged to a school, business or organization.
