The Press of Atlantic City reports that four buses carrying Absegami High School students were traveling in Medford Township when the accident occurred Saturday afternoon.

Authorities say the third bus in line had stopped in traffic and was struck from behind by the fourth, which was driven by 65-year-old Dora Previti of Linwood.

Seven of the 45 passengers onboard the struck bus suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals. But they all were treated and released on Saturday.

The students were headed to a band competition when the crash occurred.
