High temperatures Wednesday reached as mild as 75 at Newark, but 71 or 72 elsewhere.

The normal is 73 or 74, so we were about on par with normalcy.

Clouds and some sun today, but not too much.  Scattered showers are possible anytime and there could also be brief thunderstorms.  Highs today well into the 70s, but much cooler today near the ocean.

There may even be a few showers leftover for the first part of the night, then partly cloudy later with lows from 56 to 61.

Tomorrow will be not too dissimilar from today with clouds and some sun and the threat of another afternoon or evening shower in the low 70s.

Similar conditions are likely for Saturday.  There may be a late shower possible, but I think much of the day will be okay.

Partly to mostly sunny for Sunday and Monday with highs in the warmer upper 70s and low 80s, but cooler all three holiday weekend days at the beach.

The ocean water is mostly in the 50s.
