Sgt. Keith Reinhard of the Brick Township, N.J., police department says around a dozen Rhode Island troopers have been in the community this week.

He says power and water are still out in some areas of the oceanside community of about 90,000 people, and troopers from Rhode Island, Mississippi, Louisiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania have been helping with patrols.

Most notable are Rhode Island Troopers Conor O' Donnell and Erik Jensen, who late Tuesday discovered a man driving with 23 bags of marijuana and a hunting knife.

Reinhard says they're happy to have the troopers' help.
