His lawyer, Joe Amendola, filed a motion Thursday asking for court officials to release the money and the claim on their home to Dottie Sandusky.

Sandusky was convicted in June of sexually abusing 10 boys, some of them on campus. He's been in a county jail since then and is expected to get a lengthy state prison term when sentenced next week.

Before trial, Sandusky had been on home confinement. Sandusky maintains his innocence. Amendola has said he expects to file an appeal.
