Rutgers To Help Red Cross At Saturday’s Game
The Scarlet Knights of Rutgers will be helping the American Red Cross with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts at Saturday's game against Army.
The Red Cross will be accepting monetary donations throughout High Point Solutions Stadium.
The Rutgers athletic department will also be selling t-shirts with an outline of the state and the word "stRong" on the inside for $15. All proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
Plus, the Rutgers & Livingston Alumni Association will host a coat drive for donations of new or gently used coats. Collection bins will be located outside of the North, West, and East gates of the stadium.
Rutgers, ranked #24 in the Associated Press's national poll and #20 in the USA Today coaches poll, was off this past weekend following a loss to Kent.
