Myles Mack scored 15 points and hit two go-ahead free throws with 4:20 to play as Rutgers posted a 56-51 victory over Seton Hall Friday night, sweeping the season series from its New Jersey rival for the first time since 2000-01.

Jerome Seagears added 10 points and Mike Poole hit a clutch jumper with 1:41 to play and made a late steal to seal the game for the Scarlet Knights (14-15, 5-13 Big East), who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Aaron Cosby had 13 points to lead Seton Hall (14-17, 3-15) in the regular-season finale for both teams. Brian Oliver added 12 points and Eugene Teague had 11 points and eight rebounds before fouling out with 2:36 to play.
