Most of the schools Christopher Molloy will oversee are being integrated into the university from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on Monday.

Molloy, previously the dean of Rutgers' pharmacy school, has been a key manager since last year in bringing the UMDNJ schools into Rutgers. He is a Rutgers graduate.

He says that nearly all the legal, financial and technical changes needed for the merger are complete.

Rutgers says it is close to naming a permanent chancellor for biomedical and health sciences.
